Wolves Football Development

Parents / Carers Code of Conduct

All parents/carers must adhere to this code of conduct for all sessions delivered by Wolves Football Development Department.

We all bear a collective responsibility to set a good example and to create a positive environment for players to learn, develop, and most importantly, enjoy their football!

I will:

·        Provide suitable transport to and from venues for my child to participate in activities

·        Arrive and collect my child on time and directly from the coach(es)

·        Remember that players are here to have fun and enjoy themselves

·        Always stay within Designated Spectators’ Area

·        Respect coaches and let them coach the players and not confuse players by giving my own instructions and opinions from the side line

·        Always respect all parents/carers that are there to watch their child enjoy themselves

·        Appreciate good play from all players taking part

·        Encourage players to respect coaches, participants, referees, and other spectators

·        Support positively and offer players encouragement, not criticism.

·        Never engage in, or tolerate offensive, insulting, or abusive language or behaviour to anyone attending or delivering a Wolves Football Development session

·        Never engage in physical or violent behaviour towards anyone attending or delivering a Wolves Football Development session

I understand that if I do not follow the Club’s Parent’s Code of Conduct, I may be:

·        Issued with a verbal warning or asked to leave the Club’s premises

·        Requested not to attend any future sessions delivered by the Club

·        In extreme cases, your child’s expulsion from the programme without refund
