Kitolano makes Molde switch

John Kitolano has joined Molde FK on a year-long loan, with the Norwegian club having an obligation to buy the young defender.

The Norway youth international, who has made just 10 Premier League 2 appearances for Wolves under-23s after suffering several injury setbacks, will see his move to Molde made permanent in the next 12 months.

Impressing in his limited starts at Wolves, the left wing-back moved to Molineux last summer from another Norwegian outfit in Odds Ballklubb, where he played twice in the Europa League qualifying rounds.

In gold and black, Kitolano spent the majority of the 2018/19 season on the treatment table, making just four appearances for the under-23s, but returned to the team at the start of the current campaign. However, injuries once again limited his time on the pitch, with Kitolano playing just six PL2 matches as well as once for the development side in the Leasing.com Trophy.

Everyone at Wolves would like to wish John the best of luck for his future.
