Hanne makes loan move to Grasshoppers

Boubacar Hanne has signed a one-year contract extension at Wolves before joining Grasshopper Club Zurich on loan for the remainder of the season, subject to international clearance.

The Portuguese winger has been at Molineux for the past two-and-a-half seasons but will spend the second half of the 2019/20 Swiss Challenge League with Grasshoppers.

The 20-year-old, who arrived at Wolves from Pacos de Ferreira in July 2017 after representing the club since he was eight-years-old, has played several times for Wolves under-23s and was a regular member of the first-team at FC Jumilla, where he spent last season on loan, scoring five times in 33 appearances.

Returning to England this season, Hanne has scored twice in five league matches for the under-23s, as well as excelling in the Birmingham Senior Cup, scoring five goals in two games to help Wolves reach the quarter-finals of the historic cup competition.

Everyone at the club would like to wish Boubacar well during his time in Switzerland.
