The defender, who joined the club from Aarhus GF last season, has already tasted first-team football at Wolves and will now remain with the club until 2021.
Back in April the Danish defender had his moment in the spotlight, coming off the bench to head home a late equaliser and earn Wolves a crucial point against Hull City at Molineux.
That crucial goal came after he made his debut in the EFL Cup against Bristol Rovers the previous September under Nuno Espirito Santo.
A regular in first-team training, Buur was part of the pre-season tour of Switzerland and featured for Nuno in friendly matches during the summer.
This time out he’s been a regular for Rob Edwards’ under-23 side, featuring nine times in the PL2 and on a further three occasions in the Checkatrade Trophy.
