Cameron John signs new deal

Wolves are delighted to announce that Cameron John has signed a new two year contract with the club.

The 18 year old central defender has put pen-to-paper on a new deal which will keep him at the club until 2020 with the option of a further year.

John was an integral part of Scott Sellars' Under 23s side during last season's Premier League 2 campaign as well as starting both of Wolves Under 23's league games so far this season.

He was also part of Wolves first team's pre-season tour of Switzerland along with five other Under 23s players.

Wolves sporting director Kevin Thelwell said, "we're delighted for Cameron to extend his stay and continue his development at the club for at least another two years.

"We've seen him come on leaps and bounds in the last two seasons with the Under 18s and Under 23s and I'm looking forward to see how that continues this season."
