Toti says Wolves’ players will work hard while on their training camp in Abu Dhabi, but also have the opportunity to recharge batteries.
The Old Gold are currently out in the United Arab Emirates on a warm-weather training camp, with the Premier League taking a break this coming weekend for Gary O’Neil’s squad. Toti is enjoying experiencing a different area of the world and says the mixed schedule will allow Wolves to return ready to continue their strong run of form.
On visiting Abu Dhabi
“I’m enjoying it. It’s my first time, and the same for most of the players. The sessions are going really well, the weather is amazing and we’re enjoying it.”
On the flight over
“It’s very long, you have time to sleep, play some games, eat, and at points you don’t know what else to do, but it was good, and we had fun.
“I was watching a new thing from Berlin on Netflix. It was good and I listened to some podcasts and music.”

On mixing training and time off
“We have time to work and time to enjoy ourselves. It’s good that the gaffer gave us time to enjoy ourselves. Of course, me and the guys will spend time together and organise things to learn more about the area. Dubai is not far, so we can go there and enjoy it together.
“There is so much, we need to enjoy it and for sure we’ll have to do the most activities we can.”
On building bonds as a team
“It’s a really good schedule, we said thank you to the gaffer because we train in the mornings and then have the rest of the days to go out and enjoy. We need to report at night, but I think everybody will respect the schedule and we can work together.”
