Kai Havertz’s looping header put the Blues ahead before two more finishes made it a comfortable afternoon for the hosts against a Wolves side still looking for a permanent boss, but Kilman is staying positive that the players can turn their fortunes around.
On defeat at Stamford Bridge
“It was tough to take. Obviously losing the manager and then working with our new coaches this week has been tough, but we played some good football and there were times when we could threaten them, but we didn’t, so, unfortunately, we came away with the defeat today.
“Of course, it’s tough because this is our third loss in a row. We know it’s been tough, but we know we need to bounce back into the next game and then keep on going and I’m sure we will be alright.
“I felt that if we could have come into half-time at 0-0 then I think we could have really pushed on in the second half, but, unfortunately, we conceded late and it was hard to push on from there.
On the advice at half-time
“Just to keep going, be a bit more threatening, put more bodies forward and break through lines, which we did at times. But then, unfortunately, they got another goal and that made it difficult from there.
“It was very tough, but it wasn’t our day today. It was tough to take, but we need to go again.”
On remaining positive
“Now we need to keep positive, keep working hard and get back on the training pitch, keep going and I’m sure our time will come and we’ll start winning games. We need to look to the next game and do our best.
“You’ve got to stay positive. We’ve got a top team, top players, and results haven’t gone our way, we’ve lost three games in a row now, but you’ve got to look forward and be confident that we can turn it around.”
It remains goalless at Stamford Bridge.

On failing to find the goals
“It’s been difficult but we’ve got top players up front. We’ve got lots of quality and lots of players who can do the job, but we just need to get together.
“He’s [Diego Costa] got a big personality, he held up the ball really well and in time I’m sure the chances will come for him and he can get the goals.”
On playing in a centre-back pairing with Toti
“It was really good. Toti’s a top player and he’s been very patient. He’s been working very hard and he’s always a good player and he did very well today.”
