One weekend before the Premier League campaign begins, Bruno Lage’s side will face both Sporting CP and SC Farense over the weekend of 30th and 31st July.
The old gold will lock horns with Sporting CP on Saturday 30th July in a 6.45pm kick off at the Estadio Algarve, which holds 30,305 supporters and was used for senior Portugal internationals last year.
Sporting finished second in the Portuguese Primeira Liga last time out, six points behind FC Porto, meaning they’ll compete in the Champions League this coming season.
Wolves last faced the Portuguese giants in a pre-season friendly back in July 2002, when Shaun Newton was on target in a defeat for Dave Jones’ side.
The following day, at 6.45pm, Wolves will take on Primeira Liga 2 side SC Farense at the Estadio Sao Luis, before Lage’s men return to the UK for the final run-in to the 2022/23 campaign.
Ticket and streaming information will be announced in due course.
