Man United match moved for live broadcast

Wolves’ Molineux clash with Manchester United will be Bruno Lage’s first match in charge of the team to be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

After the Premier League fixture schedule for 2021/22 was unveiled earlier this week, the visit of United, originally scheduled for Saturday 28th August, has now been pushed back 24 hours, with a 4.30pm kick-off on Sunday 29th.

The match will be broadcast by Sky Sports as part of their Super Sunday coverage.

Last season, Wolves fell to a pair of defeats against the Red Devils, including a 2-1 loss on the final day of the season, which saw 4,500 supporters return to Molineux after 14 months of the team playing behind closed doors.

With supporters expected to return to stadiums this season, Wolves’ opening fixtures of the season against Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur are not due to be broadcast on TV in the UK.

Wolves' home fixture versus Tottenham, currently scheduled for Saturday 21st August will also move due to Spurs’ participation in the Europa Conference League the preceding Thursday.

Wolves' current fixture list for August is as follows:

  • Leicester City vs Wolves | Saturday 14 August, 3pm
  • Wolves vs Tottenham Hotspur | Saturday 21st August, 3pm (Due to be moved)
  • Wolves vs Manchester United | Sunday 29th August, 4.30pm | Sky Sports

All fixtures are subject to change. Any fixture changes will be announced on wolves.co.uk and across the club’s social media channels as soon as they are confirmed.
