Jonny looking to repay supporters

Wolves return home to Molineux this weekend and Jonny wants to reward the supporters with three points to start a hectic December.

Sheffield United are the visitors to Molineux, in the first of four homes games in five for Wolves, but arrive unbeaten on the road after a positive start to life back in the Premier League. Preparing for his first ever match against the Blades, Jonny is excited for the return of the Premier League, in front of his club’s noisy fan base.

On being back at Molineux

“It’s a huge pleasure to play at home, they are an incredible set of fans and they help us a lot to do what we do, we’d really like to repay them to say thanks with three points because they’re always supporting us and they’re a set of fans that we want to repay with a win.”

On Sheffield United’s challenge

“In the end their success has been something seen as unexpected, but we’ve watched them and after we’ve seen them play, we know why they’re up there. I think it’s going to be another really good game and we hope that we can carry on our good run and get the three points.”

On the win at Bournemouth

“I think it was a good game, it was really good that we got some goals in the first-half because obviously winning with two goals that’s an important thing and it’s not something that’s been usual for us, scoring in the first-half.”

On a different November

“I still think we can improve, it’s got better and we’ve improved from last season, but in future we do want to continue building on that and an important aspect of it is to carry on beating teams in positions lower than us, we can do more of that this season.”
