Jean-Ricner Bellegarde feels the positive spirit within the Wolves squad will help them bounce back quickly from Saturday’s Championship defeat to Middlesbrough.
The Old Gold suffered only their second league loss of the season at the Riverside but will not have to wait long to return to action with the visit of Bolton Wanderers to Molineux on Tuesday.
And Bellegarde believes that if the team can maintain the confidence they have built up in each other over the campaign, then they can soon get back to winning ways.
On defeat to Middlesbrough
“It was a close game, but they’re a good team. You can see that they play together and work well as a team, they’re a very good side and it was a good game.
“The first half was very difficult because we didn’t have much of the ball, but in the second half, we were better, but we conceded a goal.
“After that, we needed to score, but it was very difficult because Middlesbrough defended well. We tried, but we couldn’t score.”
On remaining positive
“We need to keep going. We have to stay positive because there are a lot of games in the Championship. We need to keep working, keep going and stay positive.
“But the team is very positive. We stay together and work well. We have a good group and although we lost today, the team is still positive and we have a good spirit. That’s very important.”
