Three unanswered first-half goals set Wolves up for a 3-1 victory over Arsenal, adding the Gunners' name to the other members of the 'big six' that Nuno Espirito Santo's side have beaten this season. Coady - who was again instrumental as Wolves defended solidly – is determined to finish the campaign strongly.
On the season drawing to a close
"It's been an amazing year, it really has. We've loved every single minute of it and we don't really want it to end, if I'm being honest. It's important that we keep improving though - we've got a massive game on Saturday (against Watford) that we're all looking forward to, and we'll make sure we're ready for that."
On Wolves' defensive display
"We like staying in shape, staying compact and staying together, and to make sure we stay in the game and weather the storm when we have to.
"It was important that we stayed high - we tried to keep the line as high as possible because they are good players who can play in small spaces. We needed to make sure we were close together and I thought we did that. We stopped them playing through the middle, which they like doing, and we stuck to that plan.
"It would have been nice to keep their score at 'nil'! We're gutted to concede the goal. We said at half-time that was big for us, so to concede off a set piece is disappointing from our point of view, so we'll look at that. But I think all round, the way we defended as a team was impressive."
On the Arsenal win
"It's a great night for the club. We knew what we were in for, we knew how good Arsenal were and what fantastic footballers they've got, but we stuck to the game plan and listened to the manager, and I thought that the lads were outstanding from start to finish."
