Nuno on home form and incomings

With the FA Cup on the horizon, Nuno wants to make Molineux a fortress once again to reward the supporters.

Wolves have lost their last two on home soil and picked up more points on the road in December, but form at Molineux was an integral part of Nuno’s success last season.

With Liverpool in the West Midland for the FA Cup on Monday, the head coach wants winnings ways to return to Molineux.

On home form

“Our home factor is something that we want to improve. It’s so important in the competitions, so we must improve at home. Every team is difficult to break down and we will work hard. We don’t live on desire, we live on action and work.

“Our fans are being fantastic with us. We count on them and we must give them moments of happiness and joy and excitement. It works both ways.”

On Jota’s fitness

“Diogo started training on Friday. The moment he starts training with the team he’s always an option for us. Everybody trained, so everybody is fit.”

On possible new arrivals

“If someone comes who can bring different characteristics to our squad, if they can help us, then we have a view regarding transfers. We are always looking for an opportunity, but he has to be able to help us. We have to look at what we have, what we want and see if there is an opportunity.

“You have to make the balance of who you have and what you want to build for in the future. Who has done things well and who we can keep counting on. There are no numbers, there are no names. It’s not about the system, it’s about the quality of the player.”
