Wolves have enjoyed an impressive season so far, but the Head Coach is keeping feet firmly on the ground, which is why he will keen for the club to strengthen if at all possible.
And while suggesting that a lot of rumours throughout the footballing world are often untrue, Nuno says Wolves know what they are chasing as they look to improve the squad for the second half of the season.
“We are very clear, we know exactly what we have to do,” he says.
“We know which way we have to go and the decisions we're going to make will be made with a lot of thinking time, a lot of consideration and a lot of dialogue knowing that we still have a long way to go, and we cannot make any kind of mistakes.
“When I say that, to come to the squad of Wolves in this moment he has to be something that gives us an increase of quality and different characteristics that we don't have.
“The more important thing is to understand that in this moment the press comes with a lot of things and they are not real - and sometimes absurd.
“When the fans read it they have to make an interrogation point and 'is this true' or 'not true'.
“Normally it isn't but this is normal in football when the transfer window is opening, a lot of names come, a lot of things including players going out and in, are not what we're doing.
“It's normal all over the world that names come out and some of them are totally absurd.
“We are very, very happy with the squad that we have.”
