The powerhouse midfielder came off the bench to set up fellow substitute Bright Enobakhare in Saturday’s game against Barnsley, then popping up himself with the injury time winner after the Tykes had levelled.
It was a pretty emphatic 14 minutes work for the Senegalese international, and enough to earn him the sponsors’ man of the match award for good measure.
“This is a very good day for me, the team,” he said.
“To go on the pitch and have an assist and score, I'm very happy.
“When I went on the manager told me to try and play forward and close to the striker and have an opportunity to score.
“I have an opportunity to score and I did so it's good.
“It was incredible to score in front of 28,000 fans. After they scored, the fans really helped us because it was a difficult time then.
“I feel very good at Wolves - the club is good, we have good players, everyone is trying to help me so I'm feeling very good.
“We have a lot of quality in the team here, it is a squad for the Premier League with more than 11 good quality players.
“We have to work hard to try and play in the first eleven and I hope today will do my chances no good.
“If I play in the first eleven or on the bench, I will give my best. I'm a professional.
“There are a lot of games coming up every three days so we need everyone. I think the manager can make some changes like the cup game in mid-week when we played another team.
“Everyone is focused on the same objective, to get into the Premier League so we are in a good place.
“We are one of the best teams in the Championship, but this is not enough.
"We want to go in the Premier League and we need to work and fight for this goal.
“We have the team and squad for the Premier League, we have the club, we have the fans, we have to fight and work well.”
N’Diaye also admitted he is very much looking forward to spending at least a season at Wolves, on loan from Villareal.
“I came on September 1 and everyone has helped me at the club, everyone has given me love in the city so I am very happy,” he explained.
“I haven't come here for a few months. I am a Wolverhampton player and I'm focused on Wolverhampton.
“I will give my best all the season to get into the Premier League.”
