Both sides had chances to win the game in what was an entertaining and end-to-end clash but neither could convert and the points were shared.
Speaking after the game, the Head Coach said: “First of all I think it was a very good game of football. Two teams trying to win the game and play quality football.
“There were many chances for both teams. We have to look at the chances that we had but didn’t take.
“The team was never happy with a point. You saw at the end of the game that we finished with a three-on-one.
“That shows the character of the team, fighting until the last minute for what we came for – the three points.
“Everybody was trying to give this push and go for the three points.
“We have to take a look at the game and realise that, in balance, they also had chances.
“We kept solid, a clean sheet is important for us. We have to improve, we have to work hard, we have to be more focused and more concentrated.”
When asked if he was content with a draw, Nuno responded: “I’m not happy. We came here to get three points.
“I think we had moments of the game where we were close to those three points but so did they.
“I think it was two teams trying to play quality football going forward.
“They had good chances, we had good chances, it was a good game.
“The table is totally false. I said that to their manager because it’s clear they play good football.
“In their other games they’ve had bad luck in some moments and today they played well.
“We keep building and building. Each game is an opportunity to do that.
“Today’s game gives us good information, Wednesday’s game gave us good information.
“Totally different players with the same idea and we work based on that idea.
“We try to find new solutions. We saw a couple today that went well with some good chances.”
Dave Edwards today completed a permanent move to Reading after a nine-and-a-half year spell at Wolves.
Nuno was highly complimentary when discussing the midfielder and showed his appreciation for his work during the Head Coach’s time at the club.
He said:“I want to thank Dave Edwards because, from day one, he was a gentleman.
“I wish him all the best in his future career. He’s a man of character and I can say that I have had the pleasure of working with him.
