Helder Costa checked in to Wolves keen to show his exciting talents and bring the experience of a season with Monaco to the Sky Bet Championship.
The 22-year-old has joined Wolves on a season-long loan from Benfica, subject to international clearance, on the back of a similar experience in Ligue 1 in France, in which he made 25 appearances and scored three goals.
Costa is delighted to be moving to Wolves and is keen to get going!
“I am very happy to be at Wolves,” he confirmed.
“There are good conditions here and I am anxious to start work!
“I think fans like to see wingers who are quick and attacking and I want to do that and help the team.
“It was good for me at Monaco where I played at a high level and played a lot of games and we had some success.
“I will now try and bring all that knowledge and experience to Wolves.”
Costa says he wasn’t put off by Wolves not being in the top flight, and helping the Club in their pursuit of that aim is now his key priority.
“Even though Wolves are in the Championship I know the league is top quality and how competitive football is in this country,” he added.
“I want to adapt to it and try and show my skills to help the team.
“I knew a bit about Wolves already and have looked up more information!
“They had some time in the Premier League not long ago and I want to help the club get back there again.”
