Costa started five of the six Premier League matches in April and scored the opener in a big Molineux victory over Brentford.
The 34-year-old also played his part in big wins over Chelsea and Crystal Palace and came off the bench to help Julen Lopetegui’s side earn a point at Nottingham Forest.
After Saturday’s win over Aston Villa, captain Ruben Neves presented Costa with his award, concluding another great afternoon at Molineux for Costa and his team.
