The Wolves stopper pulled off a couple of strong saves throughout the game and was awarded Man of the Match for his efforts.
Speaking after the game, Ikeme said: “I’m pleased with any clean sheet. But obviously we’d like to win and I’d take that over a clean sheet.
"When you get a clean sheet as a goalkeeper you’re always happy. It was nice to make a few saves as well.
"We want to win at home more but, as the players have said, if we can’t win then we don’t want to lose.
"So it’s good to keep a clean sheet and it’s a good defensive performance all round.
"We’ll take the positives from that but we want to win and we want to score more goals at home.
“We’re here to win and we understand that the fans want us to win as well.
“I think it shows a lot about the spirit of the team that we’re still fighting to keep the ball out of the net.
“We’re still fighting and trying to improve because we’re trying to take that into next season."
Commenting on his late saves, the 29-year-old said: “You have to be ready for a 95-minute game. I’m always thinking that there’s going to be one more thing to do. It’s never over.
“It’s always nice to makes saves and when they’re late in the game then they seem more important.
“As a ‘keeper you need to be ready because it can happen at any time.
“I feel comfortable with the team, I feel comfortable with the lads around me.
“We’re working hard, from the front two to the defenders, we’re all working hard to try and keep clean sheets."
Saturday's draw extended Wolves' unbeaten run to six games and Ikeme discussed the team's recent record.
“If we can’t win then we don’t want to lose, six unbeaten is good for anyone in the Championship and we just want to build on that," he explained.
“We would have liked to have done better this season and score more goals at home but we know we’ve got goals in the team with Joe Mason, Adam Le Fondre and the rest of the forward players.
“We know it will come and everyone’s working hard. The lads put a great shift in up front."
