Wolves Foundation are appealing for support from individuals and businesses as they take part in the Big Give’s Christmas Challenge campaign for 2026, where all donations are DOUBLED thanks to the annual fundraising initiative.
The club’s official charity are now seeking pledges of donations, which will not need to be paid until December, but will be doubled as part of the effort to reach an overall target.
All funds raised will be invested into the Foundation’s work in local communities, creating opportunities and changing lives of people of all ages and abilities across the city.
John Gough, who has been a Wolves director for 20 years, alongside his work as a hugely successful businessman, is helping the Foundation promote this campaign, with pledges required by 5pm next Friday 28th August.
“This is a campaign offering people and businesses the chance to support Wolves Foundation and make a pledge that will then be doubled as part of the Big Give’s Christmas campaign,” says John.
“That means one donation can mean twice the support for young people, twice the connection for older people and twice the opportunity for the people of Wolverhampton.
“Anyone who is able to make a pledge will be helping the Foundation create even more opportunities and change even more lives across the city.”
If any groups or businesses are planning to make a Christmas donation to charity, or holding a festive fayre or similar event, or an individual wishes to support work taking place within the community, this year’s Christmas Challenge provides a perfect opportunity.
The minimum pledge is £100, and any pledges do not have to be paid until after December 8th.
All pledges and donations are then matched by the Big Give campaign, ensuring double the impact in the local community.
