Selecting the players, games and kits from Old Gold history he deems to be the most underrated is Nathan Judah - co-host of the Wolves Poddy with Spiers and Judah.
Goalkeeper | John Ruddy
A magnificent first season that propelled Wolves into the Premier League included 24 clean sheets from 45 starts. No one will ever forget Cardiff City, certainly not the big man. Inspirational in the dressing room and still playing in the top flight today.
Defender | Barry Douglas
Five goals and 14 assists in Wolves’ 2017/18 Championship winning season says it all. A wand of a left foot whose dead-ball delivery was quite stunning. Deserved a shot in the Premier League, but sadly never got that chance. A fantastic guy to boot.

Midfielder | Romain Saiss
Sometimes you don’t appreciate how good it was till it’s gone. Saiss got through a difficult start to his Wolves career to become one of the best squad players in recent memory. His versatility, experience, quality and comedy value will be remembered for many years to come.
Forward | Adama Traore
Many will remember Traore as a player with lightning speed, but no end product. But he was much, much better than people gave him credit for. At his best, there was no one in world football like him. Every defender feared the beast and he scored and assisted in plenty of massive games.

Manager | Julen Lopetegui
A good time, but not a long time. Lopetegui will not be remembered fondly with the way he walked away from the club, but the job he did at Wolves to not only steer the club to safety following the departure of Bruno Lage, but to finish 13th was nothing short of masterful.
Match | Crusaders 1-4 Wolves, 2019/20
Wolves had to get through six games to get to the Europa League group stages (three two-legged games). Crusaders represented the first European away game in over 60 years. A Raul Jimenez doubled eased Nuno's side to a comfortable win in what was to become a magical adventure.
Season | 2020/21
In a season largely played behind closed doors, Nuno led Wolves to a respectable 13th in the table despite losing Raul Jimenez to a fractured skull in their away clash with Arsenal in November 2020. The team overcame the devastating emotional blow for a very respectable finish.
Shirt | 2019/20 third
This was the first time Wolves experimented with international-look kits honouring their best players. The Raul Jimenez Mexico shirt was an underrated beauty and paved the way for successful Portuguese and Brazil third shirts in the future – Si Senor!
