Old Gold Club returns for second season

Wolves’ flagship multi-platform show and podcast Old Gold Club returns for a much-anticipated second season on Wednesday and welcomes Steve Bull as the first inductee of 2019/20.

After 32 episode and a hugely popular live show at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre last season, Old Gold Club is back on Wednesday 18th September, once again hosted by Mikey Burrows and Chris Iwelumo.

The Old Gold Club will be aired fortnightly, at 6pm every other Wednesday, with a 30 minute Facebook & YouTube show and extended chat, which will go live on iTunes here.

The 2019/20 series will be powered by Blyth Group, an industry-leading construction company driving investment and infrastructure across the UK, who are now on board for the show’s new series.

The multi-platform podcast and YouTube, Facebook and Twitter show will feature a different former player each episode, discussing their memories of wearing the famous old gold shirt at Molineux.

Last season, the podcast featured in the Sports and Recreation charts at number five and has built a loyal following, aided by the chemistry between presenters Mikey and Lumes.

The pair will be joined by Bully on Wednesday, as the club’s all-time leading goal scorer sits down to discuss his Wolves record, transfer from West Bromwich Albion and the 1990 World Cup.

Before then, supporters can listen to every episode from the first series on iTunes by clicking here or Spotify here.
