Wolves Esports strengthens its FIFA roster with Unsal signing

Having represented the club during the ePremier League earlier this year, Wolves Esports adds Unsal to its FIFA roster in time for the FIFA Global Series European playoffs next month.

At 18 years old, Tunahan Ünsal joins Wolves Esports after a breakout season in FIFA 21. Over the season, he has qualified for the FIFA Global Series European playoffs having finished top two in the second qualifier. Throughout all the qualifier tournaments, he ranked 34th in Europe, and second in Sweden, out of all PS4 players. He was also selected as a member of the Swedish eNations side, having finished second in their PS4 finals.

Now under Wolves, Unsal will be looking to push through the European playoffs, July 9-11th, and secure a place at the FIFA eWorld Cup, the culmination of the FIFA Global Series, which will be held in London this August.

Unsal is also a committed content creator around FIFA and other games, and on joining Wolves he will be bringing lots of action around both competition and how to get better at your game in FIFA.

On joining Wolves Esports, Tunahan Ünsal said: “I am very proud and very happy to join Wolves and I will do my best for the club and I really look forward to working with this wonderful organisation. I want to say thanks to Melvyn Wolthers and Bundled for my time with them as I move to this opportunity.”

Esports Manager Michael Moriarty added: “I’m thrilled to welcome a player of such talent to the club and can’t wait to see what he’ll do as a member of the pack. I want to say thank you to Unsal for choosing to join our team and to Bundled for training such a strong player.”

Unsal joins from Bundled Esports, the team run by our FIFA esports management partners Bundled. On transferring his player to Wolves, Director of Bundled, Melvyn Wolthers, stated: “I am so proud and happy for Tunahan. He gave his everything to make this happen!”

Unsal will be making his debut as a fully fledged Wolves player tomorrow, in the Fragbite OneBlade Cup Nordic Finals, starting at 18:00 CEST. The action can be caught live on twitch.tv/fragbite.
