A double keeper transfer special episode of Wolves Express looks at the addition of Joao Virginia and John Ruddy into Cesar Peixoto's squad.
Ruddy returns to Wolves for a second stint having enjoyed five years at Molineux between 2017 and 2022 and he discusses how easy it was for him to make the move back to the Black Country following four years away and how he is excited to contribute to the group.
Virginia also features on the latest episode of the club's official quickfire podcast, as he explains why he wanted to join the Old Gold, the previous experiences he has of turning out against Wolves at Molineux and how he's happy to be back in England having spent most of the last decade with Arsenal and Everton.
The episode also hears from head coach Cesar Peixoto who believes Ruddy will bring a big presence to the dressing room with his vast experience and knowledge of Wolves, while thinking Virginia will bring a hunger to the group as well as being another player who adds experience of English football and a lot of quality in net.
Technical director Matt Jackson also gives his take on the double signing, explaining why the decision was made to bring Ruddy back to Molineux and adding Virginia to the goalkeeping department, why the decision has been made to shake up the group of stoppers this summer, and the impact the duo will have in the squad.
Released regularly during the off-season, Wolves Express is packed with news, updates and exclusive interviews on both the playing and non-playing side of the club, complementing other offerings of the Official Wolves Podcast and Matchday Live Extra.
