Wolves have extended their agreement with Wednesfield Cars for the new 2026/27 season, marking an incredible 35 years of collaboration with the local taxi provider – the longest standing partnership at the club.
The renewal will see Wednesfield Car’s branding continue to feature around Molineux, giving supporters a trusted and convenient way to arrange their travel to and from matches, as well as for journeys throughout the year.
Beyond matchday support for fans, the partnership plays a vital operational role for the club, with Wednesfield Cars providing dedicated transport services for the academy and women’s first-team, helping ensure players and staff travel safely and reliably as part of their daily routines.
Now in its 35th year, the relationship stands as a testament to the strength of the bond between Wolves and the local business community, with Wednesfield Cars having supported the club through multiple eras and promotions.
Dave Thomson, head of partnerships said: “Thirty-five years is a remarkable milestone, and it’s a great reflection of the trust, commitment, and unwavering support that has built this partnership across four decades.
“This relationship has been incredibly important to the Club over the years, providing a dependable, trusted operation behind the scenes, supporting the day to day running of the club’s academy, and we look forward to celebrating another significant landmark together during the club’s 150th season.”
Jim Sharma, owner of Wednesfield Cars added: “For 35 years, our family business has proudly supported the club, the academy and the wider Wolverhampton Community. We’re really pleased to continue the partnership into what we hope is going to be a successful anniversary season.”
