Jonathan Gregory has been confirmed as Wolves’ new chief commercial officer, bringing more than 25 years’ worth of experience to the club.
Gregory arrives at Molineux having held senior sports marketing and commercial leadership roles across football, major sporting organisations and global brands.
His career includes spells with the Football Association, Wembley Stadium, Fulham, Leicester City, Puma and Adidas, where he has amassed a wealth of expertise in commercial strategy, partnerships and brand development.
Gregory also has a longstanding connection to Wolves, having worked at PepsiCo on the Doritos partnership during the brand’s iconic sponsorship with the club during the start of the millennium.
As well as enjoying chief commercial officer roles outside of football, with the likes of Goodwood, Ascot Racecourse and the Bahrain International Circuit, Gregory also spent eight years with the FA, contributing to a range of major projects including the National Football Centre, England’s 2018/2022 World Cup bid and the development of professional women’s football.
His appointment at Molineux further strengthens Wolves’ senior leadership team as the club continues to develop its commercial operations, partnerships and marketing teams.
Gregory said: “I’m incredibly excited to be joining Wolves. I’ve been fortunate enough to spend more than 25 years working in sport across football clubs, governing bodies and major organisations, and I’m looking forward to bringing all those experiences to this club.
“Wolves has a proud history – which we are celebrating extensively this season during our 150th anniversary – and having been involved with the club during the early years of my career with the Doritos sponsorship, I’m delighted to be able to bring the experiences I’ve had over the last two decades back to Molineux.
“There is already a strong commercial foundation in place at the club and I’m excited to become part of the pack and contribute to the club’s future success.
“I’m looking forward to meeting more people across the club as well as the wider Wolves family over the coming weeks and months.”
