The latest episode of the Wolves Express podcast is now live, and puts the focus on this summer's pre-season tour of America, as the Old Gold return Stateside for the first time in 43 years.
The show looks back on the last time Wolves played a match in the US during the summer of 1981, as the gold and black faced the Jacksonville Tea Men in a post-season fixture, which saw the men from the West Midlands fall to a 4-1 defeat.
Wolves' goalscorer that day, the legendary John Richards, is joined on the podcast by Colin Brazier who featured in defence the previous time the Old Gold travelled to Florida, with Brazier revealing why he returned to play for Jacksonville once his playing time in England came to an end.
The duo speak about how the trip came about, the culture shock the players faced having never been to Florida before, and how a group of 30-year-old footballers ended up in Disneyland.
Gary O'Neil's men will be heading out to Jacksonville, as well as Maryland, this summer for the Stateside Cup, facing fellow Premier League outfits West Ham United and Crystal Palace.
Tickets for both matches, which sees Wolves take on the Hammers on 27th July in Jacksonville and the Eagles on 31st July in Annapolis, are available to purchase now.
During the summer, Wolves Express will still be packed with news, updates and exclusive interviews on both the playing and non-playing side of the club.
