Wolves Express | Newcastle reaction with O'Neil and Kilman

Hear from Gary O’Neil and Maximilian Kilman on Monday's episode of Wolves Express as the pair reflect to the men's first-team defeat to Newcastle United.

It was a first loss in five for the Old Gold, who got off to a slow start in Tyneside, and O'Neil lamented the injuries that his small side have picked up, which saw the head coach forced to remove Jose Sa and Pedro Neto at half time.

However, the head coach reiterated that the injuries his players are picking up is not an excuse not to do everything they can to get back to winning ways as quickly as possible.

Maximilian Kilman also joins the podcast as he gives his thoughts on the loss, with the captain believing the players gave themselves too much to do by falling two goals behind inside the opening third of the contest.

There is also reaction from Andy Thompson and Mikey Burrows who discussed the loss at St James' Park, and debated how Wolves can cope without their attacking trio of Matheus Cunha, Hee Chan Hwang and Pedro Neto - as they experienced in the second half on Saturday.

Finally, Wolves Women manager Dan McNamara gives his reaction to the women's first-team's important win over Liverpool Feds which saw the side get back to winning ways after struggling in the opening months of 2024, while also seeing several games postponed.

Released three times a week – every Monday, Wednesday and Friday – Wolves Express is packed with news, updates and exclusive interviews on both the playing and non-playing side of the club, complementing other offerings of Wolves Weekly and Matchday Live Extra.
