Matchday Guide | Wolves vs Brighton

Wolves return to Molineux for the second time this week as they turn their attention to the FA Cup and a fifth round tie against Brighton & Hove Albion.

For the thousands of supporters who will be attending the 7.45pm kick-off, here is everything you need to know ahead of travelling to Molineux…

Tickets

Tickets for this fixture are on general sale and can be purchased through the ticketing website or by calling the ticket office on 03712 221877.

Season Ticket or Membership holders will either have selected to have these uploaded to their smart card or emailed as print at home tickets.

If a smart card uploaded was selected, supporters will be able to gain entry to the stadium using their season ticket or membership smartcard. When arriving at the turnstile, supporters should tap and hold their smartcards at the front of the reader.

Print at home tickets must be printed in high quality on A4 paper or can be opened on a mobile device allowing for the QR code to be scanned at the turnstiles. Ticket holders should scan barcodes or QR codes in the mouth of the reader when at the turnstiles.

Any supporters who experience any issues relating to their tickets are advised to visit the ticket office prior to kick off.

Supporter behaviour

Ahead of Wednesday's home FA Cup fixture against Brighton and Hove Albion, Wolves are reminding all ticket holders of the club’s zero-tolerance policy towards discrimination of any kind.

At recent fixtures against Brighton, several Wolves supporters have been ejected from the stadium or arrested for homophobic gestures or abuse, which West Midlands Police has then investigated, with some cases resulting in a criminal conviction.

Supporters who are not prosecuted by police or issued a Football Banning Order, are still at risk of being banned from all Wolves matches if deemed to have contravened Wolves’ Acceptable Behaviour Policy, which can be viewed by clicking here.

For avoidance of doubt, homophobic abuse is considered a hate crime in the UK, and while the laws predominantly deal with crimes committed directly against LGBTQ+ people, it also includes crimes committed where the suspect has mistakenly identified another person as belonging to or associated with the LGBTQ+ community and/or a protected characteristic as defined by the Equality Act 2010.

Flags

The safety of all those attending our matches is a priority. Following the Premier League’s consultation with safety and security experts, clubs, football partners and external stakeholders, supporters attending matches will not be permitted to bring Israeli and Palestinian flags into Premier League stadiums for the foreseeable future.

Weather forecast

Cloudy weather with a chance of rain is forecast for Wednesday evening, with temperatures at around nine degrees Celsius at kick-off.

Up-to-date weather forecasts can be found here.

Kit colours

Wolves will be wearing the 2023/24 gold home shirt and black shorts, with the goalkeeper wearing the pink goalkeeper shirt and pink shorts.

Brighton & Hove Albion will be in their striped green and black away shirt with the white away shorts, with the goalkeeper wearing their black goalkeeper shirt and black shorts.

Light Show and Pyrotechnics
