Louise Cobbold artwork on display at new Wolves Museum exhibition

A brand-new exhibition is now live at Wolves Museum featuring the stunning work of popular artist Louise Cobbold, who is also set to visit Molineux later this month.

Well-known for her award-winning Wolves programme cover art, Louise has created a host of paintings, including famous Molineux moments throughout history and a collection of the club’s heroes, many of which will be on display.

Louise’s work will be available to view between Friday 13th May until mid-June at the museum where supporters can also enjoy a fun-packed football experience for all the family.

Louise said: “It’s been such an amazing, albeit very busy, few years in which I’ve created over 125 acrylic and watercolour Wolves pieces.

“These have been used for fundraising, matchday programme covers and tribute dinners; also as lasting memories of those who we have lost, gifts to thank staff and even for the stadium banner to show support for Raul after his injury.

“One of the biggest highlights for me has been the number of fans across the world who have said they’ve never been interest in or purchased artwork before, but are now building their own collections of our prints.

“This exhibition is primarily for them as many have said they’d love to see some of the originals in person. The museum feels like the ideal setting for this, particularly given the number of legends in the collection and I’m really grateful to the club for allowing me to offer fans this opportunity.”

As well as the exhibition, Cobbold herself will visit the Molineux Museum on Saturday 28th May to showcase her artwork and share her expertise with supporters.

Tickets for the event, which are priced at £5, are now on sale at tickets.wolves.co.uk.
