Subway Players Cup Preview | Bristol City

Wolves Women return to the SEAH Stadium on Sunday afternoon for the second of four consecutive home games, taking on Bristol City in their third match of the Subway Players Cup league phase.

After a difficult night against Brighton & Hove Albion on Wednesday night - beaten 6-0 by the WSL outfit - Dan McNamara's side have the opportunity to put things right against the side they faced in league action last Sunday.

The Opposition

Like Wolves, the Robins also faced a tough midweek fixture as they were beaten 6-1 at home to Spurs, also in the cup. They will take confidence though from their last WSL against the Old Gold, which saw them win 4-2 at Ashton Gate last Sunday.

Before Wednesday, their previous Subway Players Cup fixture saw them lose 2-0 to WSL side Charlton.
