Wolves Women continued their pre-season with a 3-0 win over tier three side Portsmouth following a late venue switch.
With Petersfield Town's ground deemed unplayable by both sides, the game was moved with late notice to the King George V Football Complex, where Georgia Marshall, Amber Hughes and Louanne Worsey all found the back of the net.
First Half
In 30 degree heat, Wolves got off to a fine start when Chloe Williams rattled the crossbar from distance with goalkeeper Hermione Cull, who was between the sticks for Plymouth Argyle in the play-off final in May, well beaten.
It wasn't until after the first half drinks break until the deadlock was broken as Marshall volleyed home as the ball bounced from a Mel Filis corner.
Filis doubled her assist-tally just four minutes later when she slid through Hughes, who poked the ball under Cull from a tight angle.
Second Half
Dan McNamara made three changes at the break as he introduced Worsey alongside Abbi Jenner and Tammi George. It wasn't long before Worsey was to have an impact on the game as she took aim from a recycled corner, testing Cull's reflexes.
Yana Daniëls then tested the shot-stopper as she curled an effort at the goalkeeper.
The Old Gold had the opportunity to extend their lead when George fought hard to win back possession in the area before being brought down by the defender. Captain Anna Morphet, who replaced Jas Matthews earlier in the half, took her spot kick with much power, but Cull was equal with a high left-sided save.
Another substitute was to have the final impact of the match as Wolves rounded off the victory with a third goal. A neat one-two between Jenner and Olivia Francis allowed the Wales international to deliver a powerful effort to the near post, where Worsey nodded home.
