Following the conclusion of the 2025/26 season, which saw Wolves Women promoted to the WSL 2 for the first time, the club can now confirm the retained and released list.
It has been announced that Jade Cross and Beth Merrick have retired from football and the club wishes both players, who have had huge a impact on the journey of Wolves Women to the professional leagues, the very best for the future.
13 players have been retained by Dan McNamara for the upcoming WSL 2 season and are in the process of contract negotiations.
10 players will depart Wolves this summer, while Casey Howe returns to Nottingham Forest following the conclusion of her loan spell. All those departing the club leave with our sincerest thanks for their services during their time with us, particularly during this history making campaign.
