Wolves lost for the first time on the road this season in mid-week, as Conor Coady’s dismissal proved instrumental in defeat to Sheffield United. The Bramall Lane reverse came on the back of Wolves picking up ten points from the previous 12 available. With the international break on the horizon after the trip to the Pirelli Stadium, Wolves will want to sign off on a high and add to the away victories accumulated so far at Derby County, Hull City and Nottingham Forest.
The Opposition
Burton are in only their second ever campaign at this level and once again are holding their own so far. Nigel Clough’s men are a point above the drop zone after ten games, having picked up victories over Birmingham City and Fulham. They were on the wrong end of a heavy scoreline in mid-week however, as Aston Villa showed their ruthless streak in a 4-0 win at the Pirelli Stadium.
