New September schedule confirmed

A date has been confirmed for Wolves’ Carabao Cup tie with Everton next month, meaning the club’s Portsmouth fixture has been moved.

Cesar Peixoto’s side will now travel to Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium for a Carabao Cup tie on Wednesday 9th September (7.45pm) – the night the Old Gold were originally due to host Portsmouth in the Championship.

As Liverpool have been selected for TV coverage on 16th September and are unable to play at home on the same night as the Toffees, the Wolves cup tie must take place on 9th September.

It means the Molineux fixture against Portsmouth in the Championship has now been pushed back one week and will take place on Wednesday 16th September, 7.45pm kick-off.

Tickets already purchased for the Portsmouth fixture on the original date remain valid for 16th September, while supporters wanting a refund can claim it up to 48 hours before the rearranged date.

Ticket prices for the Everton cup tie are as follows:
