Wolves have been drawn away to Premier League side Everton in the third round of the 2026/27 Carabao Cup.
The draw was made on Wednesday evening and paired Cesar Peixoto’s men against the side from Merseyside for a repeat of last season's tie at this stage of the competition - albeit at Molineux - which saw the Old Gold claim victory.
Wolves made it into the third round of this season's Carabao Cup thanks to a comfortable 2-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough on Tuesday night, which saw Saheed Olagunju head home the decisive goal after a Sil Swinkles inadvertently put into his own net early on.
While the Toffees reached the next round by putting four without reply past Preston North End, with Thierno Barry netting a hat-trick.
The sides will now go head-to-head for a place in the fourth round of the competition, with the fixture set to take place during either the week commencing 7th or 14th September.
Wolves will be aiming to reach the fourth round for the third time in seven years having reached that stage of the competition last season following the 2-0 win over the Toffees before being knocked out by Chelsea at Molineux and making it to the quarter-finals in 2022/23.
