Tolu Arokodare will spend the 2026/27 season on loan at Eredivisie side Ajax, who hold an option to sign the striker permanently next summer.
The 25-year-old joined the club last September from Genk, before playing 38 times and scoring six goals in old gold. Three of those strikes were in the Premier League, the latest coming in March against Brentford.
Although he featured on the final day of last season, the Nigerian international started just one of the club’s last ten fixtures to conclude the campaign.
Now he joins an Ajax side which finished fifth in the Dutch top division last season and will play in the Europa League Conference this season, should they progress through the play offs.
