Travelling squad confirmed for Marbella camp

Head coach Gary O’Neil has named a 29-man squad for Wolves’ pre-season training camp in Marbella.

The Old Gold flew to Spain on Tuesday, with three new signings Pedro Lima, Rodrigo Gomes and Jorgen Strand Larsen part of the travelling group.

The squad combines first-team players, returning loanees and youngsters, with a training camp and behind-closed-doors friendly on the agenda while in Spain.

Jose Sa, Nelson Semedo, Joao Gomes and Pedro Neto, fresh from competing in respective international tournaments, have been given time off to recharge their batteries before returning.

Boubacar Traore and Enso Gonzalez will miss the trip as they are representing their countries at the Olympic Games this summer, while Nathan Fraser has a minor injury, so will remain in Wolverhampton.
