Vote for Wolves’ October Player of the Month

Following an unbeaten month of Premier League action, Wolves supporters can now have vote for the player they believe should be named the club’s Player of the Month for October.

As has been the case so far this season, all members of Gary O’Neil’s squad to have appeared for the first-team during the month are available for selection.

In October, there are 17 players in the running for the award, following three Premier League outings which saw Wolves walk away with five points.

After a well-earned draw against Aston Villa in which Hee Chan Hwang found the net once again for the Old Gold, Wolves earned their second away win of the campaign away at AFC Bournemouth.

Having fallen behind, O’Neil’s side staged a second half fightback to claim all three points, firstly Matheus Cunha turned home Pedro Neto’s pass before Sasa Kalajdzic scored his second late winner on the road this season.

Then there was Saturday evening’s thriller under the Molineux lights against Champions League-chasing Newcastle United. Twice Wolves hit back after falling behind, with Mario Lemina’s first goal in gold and black putting his side level before the break, powerfully heading home Neto’s corner – the Portuguese’s third assist in as many games during the month.

The final action of October saw Wolves claim the point against the Magpies as Hwang scored his sixth consecutive goal at Molineux when he latched onto Toti’s pass inside the penalty area – following fantastic footwork by the defender – before turning his man and firing low into the bottom corner.
