Neto up for Premier League award

Wolves’ Pedro Neto has been nominated for the EA Sports Player of the Month award for September.

The Old Gold winger is one of seven Premier League players nominated for the honour, having hit form for Gary O’Neil’s side out wide.

The highlight of the month for Neto was his stunning solo goal against Luton Town – his first in more than a year – which sent the away end into raptures at Kenilworth Road.

That goal came after a hat-trick of assists – two at Crystal Palace and a piece of brilliance against Liverpool which set up Hee Chan Hwang, in a first half the Portuguese caught the eye.

To finish the month, the youngster’s brilliant run and cross forced an own goal out of Ruben Dias, as Wolves went on to beat champions Manchester City at Molineux.

He’s up against the likes of Julian Alvarez, Son Heung-min and Kieran Trippier and Wolves supporters can vote for their man by clicking here.
