Wolves have been drawn away to Championship side Ipswich Town in the third round of the Carabao Cup.
Gary O’Neil’s side booked their place in the next round after a comfortable victory over League One Blackpool on Tuesday night, with Sasa Kalajdzic, Fabio Silva, Matt Doherty and Nathan Fraser all on target.
Now they’ll face the Tractor Boys who beat Reading on penalties in the second round after a 2-2 draw in normal time.
It will be the first time the two clubs have met since 2018 when Matt Doherty scored the only goal in a 1-0 Championship win for the Old Gold at Portman Road.
The tie will take place week commencing 25th September, with date and ticket information to be announced in due course.
