Jonny’s brilliant strike against Leeds United was voted the Budweiser Goal of the Month for March.
The Spaniard scooped the Premier League award after firing home from 41 yards in clash with the West Yorkshiremen at Molineux.
With Leeds goalkeeper Illan Meslier caught off his line, Jonny returned on the volley with his right foot and watched his effort bounce into the roof of the net.
Jonny’s goal was the furthest distance a goal had been scored from in the Premier League in six years.
The Wolves man was one of eight players nominated for the honour and was handed the award by team mate Raul Jimenez at Compton Park this week.
