Neves earns third Castore Player of the Month

Ruben Neves was named the Castore Player of the Month for the third time this season, after a vote by Wolves supporters.

The captain, who claimed the honour for his efforts across August and September, can now add March to his collection.

Against Liverpool, Neves was Wolves’ number one for passes, tackles attempted, interceptions, blocks and touches – a truly all-round performance.

He maintained those levels throughout the month and helped Wolves to a crucial victory over Tottenham Hotspur, calling Fraser Forster into action on more than one occasion.

Neves, who pipped Adama Traore to the honour, collected his award at Compton Park after returning from international duty with Portugal.
