In the midfielder’s first full month as a Wolves player, he stood out to supporters for his committed performances in the heart of Julen Lopetegui’s side.
The 29-year-old’s month began with a brilliant display in the 3-0 victory over Liverpool, completing four clearances and six blocks – more than anyone else on the pitch.
Despite being somewhat harshly dismissed against Southampton and missing the Bournemouth clash where he was sorely missed, Lemina returned to action at Craven Cottage last Friday, and once again impressed.
Lemina was voted ahead of fellow new signing Craig Dawson in second and skipper Ruben Neves in third and it was the Portuguese who presented his teammate with the award at Compton Park on Thursday.
