Traore | 'All we can do is analyse and keep improve'

Now defeat to Bournemouth is in the past, Adama Traore insists Wolves must analyse what went wrong on Saturday and put things right at Fulham next week.

It wasn’t the old gold’s afternoon at Molineux, as Bournemouth left with all three points thanks to Marcus Tavernier’s strike to halt the recent momentum building in Julen Lopetegui’s camp. Traore was a bright spark, stretching the Cherries and trying to force the issue, but his efforts went unrewarded, and Wolves must dust themselves down and rediscover their cutting edge on show against Liverpool and Southampton.

On a Molineux reverse

“It was frustrating, I think. We tried to fight until the end, we didn’t get the result in the end, but we have to take the positives. We have to watch the game again and we keep going.”

On deserving more on the day

“It think so [deserved more]. We created chances, we fought for the game, and for many parts of the game we did feel we could take our chances. We didn’t, so we have to prepare for the next game and work from there.

“We knew it was going to be a tough game, the manager said it was going to be a tough game, a difficult game, and it was. We can’t do anything with the result now, all we can do is analyse the game and keep improving.”

On making chances count

“We had some chances, we didn’t take them, this is football and the few chances they had, they took one. This is how the game goes, we have to keep working, keep improving, and keep believing.”

On needing to bounce back quickly

“It’s not damaging. Of course, we don’t want to lose any game, but we can’t do anything about it now, we lost the game, so we have to keep fighting, keep working and keep improving.”
