Julen Lopetegui got his first glimpse of his new squad in action on Saturday, when Wolves took on Birmingham City in a behind closed doors match.
The old gold welcomed Championship side Birmingham City to Compton Park for a friendly which ended 2-2 between the West Midlands pair.
Diego Costa converted Nelson Semedo’s cross for Wolves’ first goal, before Podence netted from the penalty spot in the second-half, past former goalkeeper John Ruddy.
