Castore Player of the Month | October

The four nominations have been revealed for the Castore Player of the Month award for October.

Hugo Bueno, Ruben Neves, Daniel Podence and Adama Traore are all up for October award, after six Premier League games during the month.

Bueno has burst into the first-team during the past month and has attracted plaudits during his three starts, which included an assist on his full debut against Crystal Palace.

No player on the pitch completed more interceptions or blocks against the Eagles, and he was also involved in the equalising goal against Brentford at the weekend.

That goal was eventually scored by Neves, who expertly curled home for his second goal of October, following his penalty winner against Nottingham Forest.

Against the Bees and the Eagles, no Wolves man completed more passes than the skipper, who has claimed the monthly awards for both August and September so far this season.

Further forward, Podence has been an ever-present and on Saturday completed the most dribbles of anyone on the pitch with nine, which was also the case in the win over Forest.

Always a lively customer across the month, the Portuguese was also involved defensively – nobody attempted more tackles than him against Forest.

Finally, Traore has been reintroduced to the team by Davis and impressed during October, finishing a fine team move with a firm header against Palace – his first Premier League goal of the season.

It was also the Spaniard’s run and shot which led to the Neves penalty against Forest and he worked the opening for the equalising goal against Brentford too.
