The Portuguese winger joined on loan from Barcelona this summer and this week checked in at Compton Park for the first time as pre-season training intensified, ahead of the first friendly this weekend. When arriving in Wolverhampton, Trincao was reunited with his friend Pedro Neto and is now excited to get going and show the Molineux pack his exciting style of play.
On joining the pack
“It feels really good. I’m really excited to play here, to see all the fans, and to get started.
“It’s one of the best leagues in the world. So, I’m really excited to play, to get to know everyone and to enjoy this new journey.”
On what supporters can expect
“Well, I usually say that I want to give them a reason to buy the ticket. To enjoy the game, to score goals, to assist and to win.”
On linking up with Neto again
“I’m really excited, I want to thank him for the words that he said the last day to me, I’m really excited to play with him too and to play with everyone, all my friends, and to get to know them, because I know the Portuguese players, but the other ones no, so I’m really excited.”
On making his European debut at Molineux
“They’re good memories because we won and it’s an amazing stadium, I played with the fans, and now I hope to win here again in many matches, so I’m really excited.”
