Loan move for Buur

Wolves defender Oskar Buur has joined Swiss side Grasshopper Club Zurich on an 18-month loan.

The Dane arrived at Molineux from Danish club Aaarhus GF in 2017 and has since progressed from the under-23s to the first-team group.

The youngster’s finest moment in old gold came in the promotion charge of 2017/18, when the debutant headed in a late equaliser against Hull City to help Wolves on their way to the top flight.

Since then, Buur has featured in the Premier League and Europa League, as well as the Carabao Cup and Emirates FA Cup for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.

After two appearances for the first-team this term, Buur will now head to Switzerland, where he’ll remain with Zurich until the summer of 2022.
