Neto commits future to Wolves

Pedro Neto has become the latest member of Nuno Espirito Santo’s squad to commit his future to Wolves by signing a new five-year contract.

The youngster, who has grown into a key player since arriving at Molineux in 2019, has started every Premier League match this season and has now agreed terms until 2025.

The 20-year-old joined Wolves alongside Bruno Jordao in August 2019 and quickly embraced the challenge of his first campaign, which saw Neto named Young Professional of the Season.

Following a debut goal in the Europa League against FC Pyunik, Neto forced his way into Nuno’s plans and finished 2019/20 with 44 appearances.

Big goals in Premier League wins at Southampton and West Ham United were punctuated by a vitally important equaliser in Wolves’ Europa League last 16 clash at Olympiacos.

This term, Neto’s shown his versatility as an attacking midfielder, as well as a winger, with a first Premier League goal at Molineux – the winner against Fulham – his reward for a bright start to the campaign.

Now the Portugal under-21 international has become the fourth Wolves player to agree new terms since the start of the 2020/21 season.
